JASMINE is a Miniature Pincher, a high-priced breed that is half Dachsund, half Italian Greyhound. Because Miniature Pinchers love to run, Jasmine probably escaped from her owners and ended up at an animal shelter. She has a few tricks in store for the volunteers as well.

MONA is a “Chiweenie”—half Chihuahua, half Dachsund. She was turned into a kill shelter because her family didnʼt want to pay the pet desposit for her when they moved. She demands you pet her and loves to boss around the other dogs.

The PUPPIES, terrier mixes, were fostered by Prima in her home. She quickly discovered they were sick with coccydia—that means lots of puppy diahrrea. The puppies love playing with each other and wrestling for dog toys.

ROCKY, a mature Shih Tzu mix, was surrendered to the animal shelter because of an eye infection and grumpy demeanor.
